A Poetry Session Celebrating the Beauty of the Arabic Language and the Diversity of Poetic Voices
This evening celebrates the richness of the Arabic language and the diversity of poetic voices from all across the Arab world. A selection of esteemed Arab poets will present a range of poems that address themes such as humanity, homeland, love, and identity.
During this session, the audience will be taken on a "carpet" of poetic images and diverse emotions, where words blend with rhythm, classical poetry intertwines with prose, and colloquial blends with formal Arabic, creating a cultural tapestry full of life.
The aim of this evening is to foster cultural exchange and honor Arabic poetry as a timeless art that unites hearts and stimulates thought. It will offer an atmosphere that mixes authenticity with modernity, celebrating poetry as a bridge for communication and identity.

Poet, Media Professional, and Academic Researcher
A Moroccan poet, born in Casablanca. He began his studies in Morocco before moving to France, where he completed his university education in French literature, which greatly influenced his literary style and cultural interests. After finishing his studies, he worked in media and journalism, playing a prominent role in both journalistic and poetic writing.

Publisher
Ali Al Shaali is an Emirati poet, publisher, and cultural activist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University and a Master’s degree in Project Management from George Washington University. He also completed the Leaders of Tomorrow programme in collaboration with Harvard University.
From 2008 to 2014, Al Shaali served as Director of Publishing and Translation at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation. In 2009, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai International Poetry Festival.
He is the founder and General Manager of Al Hudhud Publishing and Distribution, established in 2011.

A Contemporary Saudi Poet, born in Jazan, is known for his poetic style that combines simplicity with depth, focusing on human and social issues. He earned a bachelor's degree in Physics and worked as a teacher, but his passion for literature and poetry led him to become one of the most prominent poets in Saudi Arabia.
He has authored several poetry collections that have garnered wide attention in literary circles, such as "Rehbat Al-Zil", "Taratil Al-‘Uzla", and "Jamar Min Marru" (Embers of Those Who Have Passed). He has participated in many literary festivals and established a significant presence in the Saudi and Arab poetry scenes.
He served as the president of the Jazan Literary Club and contributed to the development of the cultural scene in the Kingdom. His poems are among the most prominent works in contemporary poetry, reflecting his personal experiences and expressing feelings of solitude, existence, and love.

A Contemporary Egyptian Poet, born on November 12, 1960, in Damietta. He began his literary journey early and became one of the most prominent poets of his generation. His poetry is distinguished by its spiritual depth and influence from Sufism, combining aesthetics with expressions of human suffering. Throughout his career, he has won several prestigious literary awards, including the UNESCO Award for Literature.
He has published numerous poetry collections, including "Rak'atan Lil-Ishq" (Two Rakat for Love) and "Kitab Al-Ishq" (The Book of Love), which are characterized by their symbolism and emotional content. His works have been translated into several languages. Additionally, he worked in journalism, holding various positions in prestigious Egyptian magazines and newspapers.

A Writer, Poet, and Visual Artist, she is a multi-talented artist who has worked in various media institutions, including "Al-Mar’a Al-Youm" magazine and "Al-Ru’ya" newspaper. She has also written weekly articles for Al-Ittihad newspaper, among others.
She has participated in many poetry events both within the UAE and abroad, contributing to the enhancement of the Emirati cultural scene. She has collaborated with several artists, with her lyrics being sung by prominent singers like Abdullah Bin Khair, and her works being composed and performed by artists such as Khalid Al Sheikh, Mohamed Al Yafei, and Ghaliya Ben Ali.
